    Advanced Composite Design Consultant.

    Milton is owner and technical director of Dynamic Composites, established in 1997. Dynamic Composites have successfully married passion, innovation and engineering excellence to break world records and develop leading technology. The skills, expertise and determination of the company have been in demand over a broad range of areas such as aerospace projects, undertaking 'special projects' for Americas Cup syndicates and working with elite sports people and the New Zealand Academy of Sport. Milton designed and made the Zeus carbon fibre bike that Sarah Ulmer rode to a gold medal in the Olympic games. Milton works closely with the Martin Aircraft engineering design team to develop unique composite solutions .

     
  • Dr Keith Alexander

    BSc(vic), BE(hons), PhD,FIPENZ,MSNAME,MASNE, ASTM

    Dr Alexander has a background in propulsion design at Hamilton Jet. He is currently Associate Professor at the University of Canterbury Department of Mechanical Engineering. Dr Alexander became involved in a consultative role on the Jetpack in 1999. Since then, in conjunction with a number of his graduates, he has been providing an independent engineering overview.

     
  • Sqdn Ldr Aaron Lauder (RAF Ret'd)

    Flight Handling and VTOL Advisor

    Aaron has 18 years experience as an Air Force pilot and instructor. During his career he has specialized in Rotary Wing aircraft, conventional Fast Jets and the unique Harrier 'Jump Jet'. Aaron trained and operated with the Royal New Zealand Air Force and the Royal Air Force. He was the pilot expert in the development of the latest Harrier aircraft and in the development of elements of the U.K.'s JSF program. Aaron is currently employed in a Fast Jet role with BAE Systems (U.K.).

     
  • Dr Joseph Tevaarwerk

    Tribologist, Reliability Expert (USA)

    Dr Tevaarwerk is a world renowned reliability expert specializing in tribology and failure analysis, Dr. Tevaarwerk has over three decades of teaching, engineering, and consulting experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Dr Tevaarwerk works with Mercury Marine, Harley Davidson, Navman, Briggs & Stratton and with over 70 other companies.

     
  • Dr David W Kirk

    Mechanical engineer (USA)

    Dr Kirk has been an engine developer for over 25 years, and has designed and built aircraft engines from scratch. In addition he has designed engines for Mercury Marine, Waukeshawa.

     
  • Dr Neels Van Niekerk

    Engine developer (South Africa)

    Dr Van Niekerk has worked extensively in engine simulation and development of aircraft engines and analysis primarily in the defense industry. Dr Van Niekerk works with the Martin Aircraft Company to develop and optimize our aircraft engine.

     
  • Mr. Stuart Holdaway

    Engine design and analysis

    Mr Holdaway has more than 25 years experience in two stroke engines and has been instrumental in advising a wide range of winning race teams. Mr Holdaway has been an advisor to the Martin Aircraft Company for over 10 years and was instrumental in implementing engine simulation and FADEC control for the development of the Martin Jetpack engine.

     
  • Dr Peter Beck

    Recovery and safety systems deployment

    Dr Beck is an award winning scientist and engineer, with his most recent achievement being the Cooper Medal – presented by the Royal Society bi-annually to those deemed to have published the best single account of research in physics and engineering. Peter is also credited with five US and European patents and a provisional patent in hybrid rocket fuel. Following almost a decade and a half of propulsion research, market development and networking within the international space community, Peter founded Rocket Lab Ltd in 2006 to develop the Ä€tea series of launch vehicles.
