Martin Aircraft Company Limited
The Martin Aircraft Company is based in Christchurch New Zealand. It was formed in 2004 with the assistance of investors in order to hire a team of engineers to complete the development of Glenn Martin's Jetpack.
The focus of the company is on completing the Martin Jetpack. At the same time, discussions have begun for initial sales of jetpacks to specialist commercial users in defence and civil defence. The goal is to get the flying hours up with users like these while continuing the development work for the lighter personal use recreational Jetpack.
The Martin Aircraft Company is planning to list on the New Zealand Stock Exchange and is currently seeking qualified investors to help fund the company until then.
The next key goal for the company is a manned flight later in 2012.
